My Progress

Hello! in this blog I will be talking about the experiences I went through during the time I was creating my website for the first time.

First Attempt:

My first attempt at creating my website was challenging. I wanted to take up the challenge and start with an empty template. As I progressed I realized that I was having lots of difficulties in creating it.  

 

The background colour that I chose was originally pink. However, as I continued to develop my website I noticed that my choice of colour was wrong. In addition to that, I believe that I was overwhelmed with all the choices and suggestions. Therefore, I took some time to rethink everything and I decided that I wanted to start from the beginning. 

Second Attempt:

 

My second attempt at creating my WIX website was much better than my first attempt. This time I decided that I was going to use one of the templates that was created by WIX.

I changed the template a bit to add my own touch. And this time I left the colour of the background white to keep it simple and not overwhelm people.

This is my shopping page. I added the items and named them. Also I added the prices and description.

This is what the page will look like once you have selected the item that you want. As you can see in the picture, you can pick the size and quantity you desire. After that, you can add it to your basket.

This is what the inside of the basket looks like. You can cancel or add things to it. Once you are confident with your choices you can checkout.

The picture above shows the 'about' page of my website. In this page you will find out more about my website. For example, the meaning of the brand name.

The contact page is a simple and straightforward page. It is a form that you fill out in case you have a question that was not answered on the FAQ page.

Finally, I prefer the change that I have done to my website and I will continue to try and make it better.
