Research what Alt Tags and Title Tags are in HTML, and discuss how they improve SEO for your e-commerce website

 



Alt tags:

- Traditionally Alt tag is used on a simple images. Furthermore, Alt tags is an attribute on an <img> or <Figure> tag. It is also useful as it provides a text alternative for search engines (McCall et all,2022).

Title tag:

- A title tag is an HTML code. Furthermore, the title tag of a web page can be found as title that appears in the search engine result. In addition, the information that is included in a title tag can be seen as a header at the top of the screen. An alt title should be added to every web page. However, the title tag should represent the content of the web page.


How Alt tags and title tags improve SEO:

- First of all, title tags are necessary as they affect the user experience. Also, they are a perfect place to apply a keyword. Furthermore, placing a good keyword can boost your search ranking. For instance, it is better to keep the keyword short and use some title modifiers (Kinsella, 2021).

- Alt tags are important as they provide search engines with information regarding the image used in a web page. For example, search engines such as google use the alt tag as a way to understand the context of the image. How can Alt tags and Title tags improve SEO for my e-commerce website:

- Choosing and writing the correct tags can improve my website ranking. Not only that, but the title tag can improve the users experience. Furthermore, those tags can have a positive impact on the the website and make it more popular.
