Invention of WWW and E-commerce
Tim Berners-Lee, 41, is the person who invented the World Wide Web. Which means he is the creator of WWW. Tim Berners-Lee has stated that he developed some software to keep track of his “memory” since he said he is neither good at names nor faces. So he created it as a “memory substitute”. For this reason, technology has advanced increasingly. He is the reason that we can look at a photo online and click on it to find out the photographer’s name. (Wright, R., 1997)
Michael Aldrich is the person who created e-commerce. Moreover, 1995 was the year when e-commerce started growing. Furthermore, the internet and the web were the main factors that helped e-commerce grow (Laudon and Traver., 2013). Even though e-commerce has become more popular over the last decade, it has been around for over 30 years. Furthermore, the idea of e-commerce is associated with notions of the internet economy and digital economy. In addition, all these concepts connect to the use of information and communication technologies for economic activities, but with different focuses. (Tian and Stewart., 2006)
