Hello, this blog is going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of an e-commerce website. I hope that you can learn something from it,

  Introduction:

There has been a noticeable impact in today's society by using E-commerce in our daily lives. It has significant advantages for both the individual and the community. Whilst E-commerce has been demonstrating profitable growth, questions arise regarding its efficacy. Therefore, being mindful of these obstacles will help you improve.

Advantages:

For example, you have access to it all the time. Because of this, e-commerce is considered time-saving. As well as targeting the correct crowd to help promote the business. Also, owning an e-commerce website is better since you do not have to worry about picking the location for your company. That is why it is easy to run a business using e-commerce. (Taher, G., 2021.)

An E-commerce website can allow people with low income to shop comfortably. It can assist in increasing the reach and richness of the company. Also, e-commerce can help decrease traffic as people can shop at home. Furthermore, with that, it can help reduce air pollution. Besides, some websites sell products at lower pricesAdding to that, it allows customers to compare prices for an item. Besides, it is simpler to browse and shop on the website than to visit the store and not find what you want. Also, some people are too anxious to ask for help from the assistants. (Manzoor, A., 2010)

E-commerce can benefit companies as they can spend less on maintenance and repair. Additionally, it can help customers and businesses decrease the money and time spent on paying bills, transferring accounts, and trading stocks. (Goel, R., 2007)

Disadvantages:

Nowadays, many individuals would rather browse for products online than real life. Because of this, customers are incapable of checking the product. That means that some customers might not seem satisfied with result and will be disappointed with it.(Taher, G., 2021.)

Not only that but perhaps there could be a hold-up on the packages. That being said, it should be kept in mind that not many people have the patience to wait for a long time.(Taher, G., 2021.)

Moreover, credit card fraud is a significant problem in the online world. Although it has consequences, criminals choose to ignore it and scam people. However, both the consumer and the company can fall victim to this.(Taher, G., 2021.)

Furthermore, the absence of personal contact could be considered the most negative point that affects us. Because of that, many people might develop social anxiety and prefer to stay at home all the time. (Taher, G., 2021.)

In addition to that, many corporations have faced difficulties in hiring staff workers with wanted experience in the technology field. On top of that, it is still uncertain about the laws revolving around e-commerce in terms of taxation. (Manzoor, A., 2010.)

Conclusion:

In conclusion, e-commerce has eased our daily life, but it still should not be a replacement for going to the store and interacting with workers.
